All in all, it's about me me me. I NEVER mention current events in the world, or my opinion thereof. In truth, I guess if you don't actually KNOW me...this blog is Exceptionally boring. Am I feeling Blog envy? Yes. I read a random selection of blogs...just out of curiousity mostly. All those people out there are EVER so much more interesting than me. All I really do with my blog is whine. What am I gonna do about it? Not much. I think I like being boring, selfish and whiny. So PPPLLLBBBHHHTTTHHH ! # Thursday, February 12, 2004 ( 6:56 PM ) Fat Bitch I scrimped and saved. I plotted and planned. I ordered and organized. "THE PERFECT VALENTINE'S WEEKEND GETAWAY" Picture this... a little cabin in the woods on a private lake. Fireplace, jacuzzi, no one around for miles. I was gonna fix my specialty dishes, give hours-long body rubs, wash her hair, and make love endlessly, on a bed covered with rose petals. Now..just hours before our departure... I have to take inventory of myself. I have a bronchial infection...and sound like I swallowed a frog. I'm limping on one foot due to the heel spurs, and limping on the other due to a bad sprain I got bowling. (What is the deal with me and bowling? Now that I think about it...the heel spurs are from that little injury I got bowling the first day I met her) I also have a big sty in one eye and am broken out on my chest due to the Vick's Vapor Rub. Is this enough to keep this coming-out-of-the-closet romantic down? Am I gonna cancel my plans and sit at home and pout? Hell NO. By the Grace of Whatever Deity is Listening...I will go on my romantic Valentine's Day trip...And NOT come home with pneumonia! AMEN. # |
